Led by the Dean of Guildford and the Duke of Devonshire. Includes Family History Fayre.

Undress Bess (12th-13th May)

Enjoy an Elizabethan Striptease Day, when our experts on Tudor dress take you exploring through those heavy, sumptuous clothes down to corset, shift and... who knows where after that!

 

More Glass Than Wall (12th June)

Celebrating 400 years since the death of Bess of Hardwick, 180 local young people join the Sinfonia ViVa orchestra for the world premiere of More Glass Than Wall, devised by the participants in conjunction with Derbyshire's Poet Laureate Cathy Grindrod and nationally acclaimed composer and project leader James Redwood.
